Security Overview
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This overview describes the safeguards Evolve Cost uses to help protect customer data. We use reasonable safeguards designed to help protect customer data. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Private Workspaces
Each customer’s data is isolated to their own workspace. Business data is not shared between customers. Access to workspace data is controlled by the workspace owner and assigned roles.
Role-Based Access
Workspaces support owner, manager, and staff roles. Each role has different permissions. Owners control who can access the workspace and what they can do.
Support Access Controls
Evolve Cost support staff do not automatically access customer workspace data. Workspace owners may enable temporary support access when troubleshooting is needed. Support access can be granted for limited durations and revoked at any time.
Secure File Storage
Files uploaded for import or processing are stored securely and access is restricted. Files are processed for their intended purpose and may be deleted after use.
Audit Logs
We maintain logs of significant platform events to help monitor activity, investigate issues, and detect potential security concerns.
Backups
We maintain backups of platform data to support recovery in case of system issues. Backups are stored securely and access is restricted.
Administrative and Technical Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect customer data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and regular security reviews.
No Absolute Security Guarantee
We use reasonable safeguards designed to help protect customer data. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We encourage customers to follow good security practices, including strong passwords and limiting access to authorized team members.
